GENERAL RULES
- ALL UNITS ARE NON-SMOKING AND NO PETS ALLOWED
- BICYCLE RACKS ARE ALLOWED BUT ONLY TO CARRY BICYCLES
- ALL RENTAL UNITS MUST REMAIN ON VANCOUVER ISLAND ONLY
- NO SELF TOWING OF TRAVEL TRAILERS. ALL TRAVEL TRAILERS WILL BE DELIVERED BY PACIFIC RV VENTURES INC. TO THE DESIGNATED RESORT CAMPING SITE AND MAY NOT BE REMOVED EXCEPT WITH THE EXPRESS WRITTEN CONSENT OF PACIFIC RV VENTURES INC.
- TRAVEL TRAILER RENTAL PERIODS FOR THE RESORT PACKAGE ARE FROM SATURDAY TO SATURDAY. RENTAL PERIOD IS FOR A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEK (7 DAYS). NO PARTIAL WEEK RENTALS
- TRAVEL TRAILER RENTAL PERIODS FOR ALL OTHER UNITS OTHER THAN THE RESORT PACKAGES ARE ANY DAY OTHER THAN SATURDAY FOR DELIVERY OR PICK UP. RENTAL PERIOD IS FOR A MINIMUM OF 4 DAYS.
- ALL PRICES IN THIS CONTRACT ARE IN CANADIAN DOLLARS
Payment of Booking Deposit shall constitute acceptance of this Terms of Agreement.
Booking & Damage Deposits
A booking deposit of $400.00 per week will be taken at the time of the booking confirmation and will be prorated for days rented. This booking deposit will be credited towards the total rental amount.
Booking deposit and a signed copy of the rental contract must be received by Pacific RV Ventures Inc. within 24 hours after confirmation of this booking to reserve and hold the rental unit.
Canadian customers must provide a damage deposit of $1,000.00. Non-Canadian customers must provide a damage deposit of $1,500.00. The damage deposit will be held for insurance deductible, damage, missing items or cleaning if unit is not returned clean.
Any unused portion of the damage deposit will be refunded within 7 days after rental return.
A copy of a credit card will be held on file to cover any amounts owing that are over and above the $1,000.00/$1,500.00 damage deposit.
Balance of rental, damage deposit and add-ons requested are due 30 days prior to rental units or resort package check-in. If balance of rental is not paid 30 days prior to rental check-in, the rental reservation defaults to a cancellation.
Cancellations
Effective December 1, 2021
The following cancellation policy applies:

Should there be any chance your plans could change, we highly recommend arranging private cancellation coverage in advance to mitigate any financial loss.
Check-in & Check-out Times
RVs in Resort Package
Check-in time between 1:00 and 2:00 pm
Check-out time is 11:00 am: this gives us time to service the unit. No refunds for early check-out.
We ask that you call the day before to confirm your check-in time as there will be an orientation at that time.
Please advise us of your check-out time so that a representative can meet you and inspect the rental unit in your presence before check-out.
Travel Trailers That Are Delivered
Check-in time: between 1 pm – 4 pm, depending on the campsite chosen
Check-out time: 9 am – 11 am, depending on the campsite chosen. No refund for early check-out.
We ask that you call the day before to confirm your check-in time as there will be an orientation at that time.
Please advise us of your check-out time so that a representative can meet you and inspect the rental unit in your presence before check-out.
Damage
Any accident, damage to vehicle, vandalism, fire or theft, must be reported to Pacific RV Ventures and the Police within 24 hours of occurrence, otherwise the insurance becomes null and void. An administration fee of $100.00 will be applied for every occurrence.
RV Breakdown & Repairs
The Renter acknowledges the possibility of a mechanical failure and recognizes that such occurrence is an inherent risk associated with the operation of a recreational vehicle and beyond the control of Pacific RV Ventures Inc.
The Renter agrees to hold Pacific RV Ventures Inc. harmless from and against any loss of time, inconvenience, food loss in vehicle, and any and all expenses resulting from a failure.
Equipment / Cleaning
All units come equipped with the following:
- Dishes
- Pots and pans
- Cutlery/Utensils
- Glasses/Mugs
- Coffeemaker
- Toaster
- Cleaning Supplies
- Broom/dust pan
- Tank chemicals
- Toilet Paper
A complete detailed inventory list will be available in the RV and an inventory count will be completed at time of check-in and check-out or return of the rental unit.
Please ensure all dishes and utensils are washed and put away. Please wipe down the following with the disinfectant supplied: all sinks, counters, table tops, appliances and shower stalls.
Floors are to be swept and washed and the insides of the fridge, stove, microwave are to be wiped clean.
RVs must be undamaged on the outside as well as the inside at check-out. A $100.00 cleaning charge will be charged if the RV is not clean upon check-out. An additional cleaning fee may be accessed if the unit is extremely dirty. If the smell of smoke is detected upon return, a $500.00 de-fuming charge will apply.
Bedding, pillows, and towels are not included, but are available for rent. (We will clean upon return).
Awnings
Awnings damage easily and are the full responsibility of the Renter. Awnings must be retracted in windy conditions and drained properly of water (by lowering on one corner). Awnings must be retracted when away from the unit or at night when the wind can come up unexpectedly. The Awning Manufacturers recommend awnings are retracted in windy conditions and/or during rain and will not warranty awnings for wind or rain damage. Ensure that awnings are raised high enough over the entrance door so rubbing does not occur.
NOTE: USE OF THE AWNING IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE RENTER. IF THE AWNING IS DEPLOYED THEN IT IS RECOGNIZED THAT THE RENTER HAS AGREED TO ACCEPT ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE AWNING.
Renters Responsibility – Losses Not Covered By Insurance
The Renter will be held responsible for any damage due to negligence in the operation of the rental unit.
- Deliberate or willful damage by any member of the group or any guest.
- Damage or injury while the vehicle is used for illegal trade.
Collections
The Renter understands nonpayment of any outstanding fees, costs of damages or invoices issued to the Renter from Pacific RV Ventures may lead to a negative impact on their credit, and the Renter will also be responsible for all attorneys’ fees and costs in collecting the amount.
Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the law in force in the Province of British Columbia and the Renter and Pacific RV Ventures irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of British Columbia.
Notes
Any extension of the rental date must have prior approval of Pacific RV Ventures. The Renter hereby acknowledges having read the terms and conditions set forth on the attached document and hereby accepts delivery of the vehicle and equipment.
To receive full refund of damage deposit, the Renter must at check-out time leave the trailer cleaned and undamaged on the inside and outside to Pacific RV Ventures’ satisfaction. Renter will pay for all propane used. This will be assessed when the propane tanks are refilled after check-out and this will be deducted from the damage deposit due for refund. No refunds for early check-out. Renter’s signature on this agreement will be considered authorization to charge Renter’s credit card for any charges over and above the damage deposit. The vehicle must be returned in the same condition in which it was received, except for ordinary wear and tear to the vehicle’s on or before the date specified. The Renter shall be shown the proper operation of the vehicle and its equipment at check-in time and the Renter agrees to and acknowledges the proper use and operation of the vehicle and its equipment at check-in time. Pacific RV Ventures Inc. shall not be responsible for loss or damage to any property of the Renter or any other person who may have been in the vehicle either before check-in time or after the check-out time of the vehicle to Pacific RV Ventures Inc. The Renter shall assume risk of such loss or damage and waive all claims therefore against Pacific RV Ventures Inc. and defend, indemnify and hold Pacific RV Ventures Inc. harmless from any and all claims arising out of such loss or damage.
By paying the initial booking deposit, Renter declares that they have read all the above and agrees to these conditions.
MOTORHOME POLICY

Pickup and Dropoff Times
PICK-UP: 2 pm – 4 pm
RETURN: 9 am – 11 am. No refund for early return.
Late returns will be charged at $100.00/hr (or portion of an hour), as the next customer will be left waiting and will need to be reimbursed for lost rental time.
We ask that you call the day before your pick-up to book a pick-up appointment. Please allow 1 hour for orientation. Please advise us of your return time so that a representative is available to meet you and inspect the motorhome in your presence.
RV Insurance Fee for Motorhomes
BC Residents with a BC Driver’s License
B.C. residents will need to purchase Rental Vehicle insurance from ICBC. The policy renters will need is APV 281. The policy will need to cover the person(s) driving the vehicle.
The cost of this policy is $10/day. For BC residents ONLY, this cost will be fully reimbursed to the renter by Pacific RV Ventures at the end of the rental.
The renter agrees that any and all damage occurring while in the Renter’s possession will be claimed through their ICBC Policy. Any extra charges arising from such damage and not paid by ICBC will be paid by the Renter and charged to their credit card.
Non-BC Residents
We require proof of a vehicle rental insurance policy from where the Renter is residing, province, state, or country. The Renter is responsible for the proper insurance coverage policy.
Damage
The Renter agrees that any and all damage occurring while in the renter’s possession, and not covered by ICBC or their personal vehicle rental policy, will be paid by the Renter and charged to their credit card.

Fridge
The Fridge must be LEVEL while Motorhome is STATIONARY.
Air Bubble in Level (in bottom of fridge) must touch the inner ring.
Slides, Stabilizers & Leveling Ramps
Slide(s) MUST be closed, all stabilizers MUST be raised up and leveling ramps MUST be removed on all RVs prior to moving the RV any distance. Renter will be responsible for any damages that occur due to not retracting the slide(s) prior to moving.
Campsites Without Services (Surcharge May Apply)
Use water sparingly as the fresh water tanks are limited in size. Waste tanks may need to be emptied prior to your return date and are the Renter’s responsibility. (Many camp areas have a septic business who will come to you). Where holding tanks are not emptied upon return/check-out, a $50.00 emptying surcharge fee will be charged.
Use light sparingly as 12 volt battery power is limited. 30 amp power/120 volt or a generator is required for air-conditioning, microwave, coffee maker, toaster etc. Some units are equipped with solar panel power to charge the batteries daily.
Note: All motorhomes have generators. 1 hour of generator use per day is included in the motorhome rental. $5.00/hour will be charged beyond the allotted time limit. Renter is responsible for all fuel used by generator.
Mileage
Motorhomes receive a travel allowance of 100 km/day. Additional mileage will be charged at $.40/km.
Travel Restrictions
Travel is limited to Vancouver Island in British Columbia.
Motorhomes are not allowed on any dirt/gravel roads (other than campground roads) or roads designated as “other roads” according to official Provincial maps. Absolutely no off-road or logging road use.
Driver Requirements
- All drivers must possess a valid full-privilege Class 5 drivers’ license, for the entire rental period. All drivers must ensure they are legally allowed to drive the same type of vehicle in their home country and that their driver’s license does not list any restrictions in that regard.
- Minimum age is 25 years old and not older than 75 years old.
- Only drivers listed on the contract and covered by the insurance are allowed to drive.
- Secondary Driver fee is $5.00/day and must be named on Rental Contract at time of booking.
- The Renter and secondary Driver should have previous experience operating a motorhome, or driving a larger dual-wheel style vehicle.
- Proof of valid drivers’ license is required. A special license is not required for driving our units.
Note:
In the event of a claim, the driver’s license is the document that will be referenced by the responding authorities and the person in question must have the proper documents to prove their legal capabilities or they will immediately assume fault for the claim until they provide supporting documentation.
Pacific RV Ventures Inc. reserves the right to restrict driving access at any time. These restrictions may be applied at the time of pick-up.
Renters Maintenance Responsibilities
The Renter is responsible for:
- Checking coolant and engine oil levels at each refueling.
- Reporting mechanical failures immediately.
- Receiving authorization before any major repairs.
- Retaining parts and receipts for items replaced by a repair shop in order to be refunded.
Renters may make any reasonable maintenance purchase under $100.00 without permission. (e.g. windshield wiper replacement, oil, antifreeze, wiper fluid). Renter will be reimbursed upon return if a receipt is provided.
The Renter is responsible for the cost of all fuels, such as gas/diesel and propane, during the rental period and must ensure that all levels are topped up before returning the Motorhome. $50.00 surcharge plus cost of gas or propane will be charged if not returned full.
Renters Responsibility – Losses Not Covered By Insurance
The Renter will be held responsible for any damage due to negligence in the operation and/or regular maintenance of the vehicle.
- For any accident with the vehicle where fault is found in the named driver.
- Broken or cracked windshields.
- Failure to check tire pressure, lug nuts (wheel nuts), engine oil, fluids and coolant levels at each fueling.
- Damage caused by driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Damage caused by the engine due to failure to use specific fuel.
- Damage or repairs due to travel on restricted areas.
- Damage due to failure to maintain fluid levels.
- Tires and wheel damaged by hitting road hazards or objects on the road.
- Damage caused by the freezing of vehicle’s systems.
- Deliberate or willful damage by any member of the group or any guest.
- Damage occurring while the vehicle is operated by anyone under 25 years old or over 75 years old or not licensed.
- Damage occurring while vehicle is driven by an unauthorized driver not listed on the rental contract.
- Damage or injury while the vehicle has more passengers than seat belts.
- Damage or injury to the occupants of the vehicle, under no circumstances, are covered by the insurance.
- Damage or injury while the vehicle is used for the transportation of contraband for illegal trade.
- Renter always pays all cost for losses not covered by insurance such as towing and flat tires.
- Renter is responsible for the installation and use of the necessary child seats or booster seats as described by BC law. Lap seat belts are installed in all units. Pacific RV Ventures does not supply or install car seats or booster seats.
- The Renter may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in operation and/or not performing normal maintenance.
- No towing of any vehicle or trailer allowed.
Traffic Violations & Parking Tickets
The Renter is responsible for fully paying out all Traffic Violations & Parking Tickets incurred during the rental period. Known violations or parking tickets will be deducted from damage deposit. Failure to pay for tickets and violations could result in fines from local law enforcement agencies, Government refusal to renew your driver’s license and/or auto insurance premium increases. Upon return, please report any violations tickets that may have occurred during the rental period, with a copy of the ticket. Failure to do so will result in an administrative fee of $100.00 per violation ticket, charged to the customer by Pacific RV Ventures Inc.

Renter’s signature on this agreement will be considered authorization to charge renter’s credit card for any charges over and above the damage deposit. The vehicle must be returned in the same condition in which it was received, except for ordinary wear and tear to the vehicle’s on or before the date specified. The Renter shall be shown the proper operation of the vehicle and its equipment prior to leaving and the Renter agrees to and acknowledges the proper use and operation of the vehicle and its equipment prior to leaving. Pacific RV Ventures Inc. shall not be responsible for loss or damage to any property of the Renter or any other person who may have been in or on the vehicle either before or after the return of the vehicle to Pacific RV Ventures Inc. The Renter shall assume risk of such loss or damage and waive all claims therefore against Pacific RV Ventures Inc. and defend, indemnify and hold Pacific RV Ventures Inc. harmless from any and all claims arising out of such loss or damage.
By paying the initial booking deposit, the Renter declares that they have read all the above and agrees to these conditions.
